INFINITE RACING: THINK PINK
Infinite Racing is an all-girls team from Redcliffe State High School competing in the F1 in Schools Challenge. Our tagline: THINK PINK emboies our spirit to be role models for girls by opening up careers for them in STEM areas!
Through discussions with sponsors from industry and knowledge gained on and off the race track, Infinite racing has designed and developed the future in Formula 1 race cars. Each stage of the competition has seen improvements to the car design.
GOING TO THE WORLD FINALS 2015
Infinite Racing has won a place at the F1 in Schools World Finals 2015! The team will be heading to Singapore in September to take on the world's best. NATIONALS 2015
The girls have come home with a plethora of trophies to add to their collection, as well as some very exciting news. The nationals took place in Melbourne this year, and the girls took home the:
- Verbal Presentation Award
-Innovation Award
-Outstanding Industry Collaboration Award
-Engineering Award
Not only did they win all these wonderful awards, but they placed 4th overall. The girls were also offered a wildcard invitation to take place in the 2015 World Finals!
STATE FINALS 2014
The team has been invited to complete at the Nationals after a stunning display at the State Finals. Held in Mackay, the Redcliffe team were runner ups in the Professional Senior Class and took home the awards for:
-Best Pit Display
-Fastest Reaction Time
-Engineering Award
REGIONALS 2014: OVERALL CHAMPIONS
Infinite Racing are the overall champions in the regional division of F1 in Schools and are on their way to the State Finals! The girls dominated in the competition, winning the:
-Best Pit Display
-Overall Champions of the Professional Senior Class
-Overall Champions
NATIONALS 2014
Infinite Racing have placed fourth outright in the National Australia Division for F1 in Schools. Receiving four nominations, the girls took home the award for Best Industry Collaboration.
STATE FINALS 2013
At the 2013 State Finals Infinite Racing won the:
-Best Pit Award
-Best Folio Award
Although they did not win an overall place in the competition, the team have been offered a wild card entry into the Nationals taking place in Canberra!
REGIONALS 2013
The first competition the team has competed in has been a roaring success. Infinite Racing have been deemed as the Overall Champions in the Professional Class, winning the:
-Knockout Champions
-Best Folio Award
The success of the team means that they have been asked to compete in the State Finals!
